Last summer, I was thrilled to be part of Helen & Tanya vow renewal in Paris. What a beautiful ceremony, and magical day!
For their five-year anniversary, Helen & Tanya, who traveled the world together, decided to celebrate this milestone in the most perfect place in the world: Paris! They wanted to plan a
moment where they could settle and reflect about their journey together, and take the time to soak in everything: a vow renewal ceremony was therefore perfect for this day.
Helen & Tanya took the time to plan everything, from the ceremony built with The Paris
Celebrants to the photography with Rémi Dupac, and of course the music... with me! It was very
important to them to have two songs for their ceremony.
The first one was 'You're still the one', that I performed while they were walking down the 'aisle'. This song is ideal for a vow renewal, since the lyrics are meant to be sung to a loved
one for many years: 'You're still the one I run to, the one that I belong to, you're still the one I want for life'. This song feels like a promise, or exactly like a vow renewal ;)
At the end of the ceremony, after renewing their vows, Helen & Tanya chose to have their first dance with 'Stand by me', which is one of the world's most famous wedding songs! It was such an
emotional moment, with many tears from beginning to end of the ceremony.
